Summary:
The primary objective of the project was to devise innovative and feasible concepts that could improve the quality and accessibility of a medical client's publication of an international NGO across various digital platforms, including PDFs, websites, and mobile applications. The overarching aim was to enhance the user experience of the readers and make the content more informative and engaging.
As the start of the project, as the brief was quite vague, I wanted to know more about the problems physicians are facing during a day in the practice. To collect evidence, I used qualitative research methods: desk research and interviews with doctors.

After conducting thorough research, I identified several issues that needed to be addressed in my design. To tackle these issues head-on, I knew that I needed to map out the problems in a more advanced way. That's when I decided to use the 5 Whys technique to define my problem statement.

In order to get the perspective of patients, I used empathy mapping:

The next stage was ideation, where I used my HMW questions to come up with many ideas to my problem statement as possible.

Making a medical booking system successful and profitable can't be an island on its own, I analysed designs and already existing platforms to highlight strengths and weaknesses.

This also helped me identify any gaps in the patient journey, and I documented what I already knew about the users.

I also mapped out the flow of the platform I needed to focus on:

I created low-fidelity prototypes for the purple flow:

I created high-fidelity prototypes for my ideas, and also mapped out what problems the functionalities solve.
